Mal kurz zusammengefasst: Der Vorstand des FC Schalke 04, der von dem Aufsichtsrat bestimmt wird, dessen Kandidaten vom Wahlausschuss gesiebt werden, unterstützt also Kandidaten, die ihm genehm sind. Das ist schon recht plump, da fehlen einem eigentlich die Worte.
Leider fehlte wohl doch die Zeit, sich “ausführlich mit den Intentionen, Meinungen und Befähigungen der Kandidaten” zu beschäftigen, “um ein fundiertes Bild zu erhalten”. Mehr herausgekommen ist nicht als “Egal, ob langjährige Erfahrung – Eva-Maria Lewkowicz arbeitet bereits seit 12 Jahren im Wahlausschuss, darunter geraume Zeit auch als Vorsitzende des Gremiums – oder frischer Wind durch jemanden, der sich erstmalig engagieren will wie Richterin Kornelia Toporzysek: Das Herz schlägt bei allen blau-weiß.” Also, ob neu oder erfahren, auch egal, Hauptsache, linientreu, wenn man das zusammenfassen darf. Bei den anderen Kandidaten dürfte übrigens sicher auch das “Herz blau-weiß” schlagen. Mitglieder, deren Herz schwarzgelb schlägt, dürfte es kaum geben.
Wer sich mal wirklich eingehend mit den Kandidaten beschäftigen will, dem sei übrigens mal der “Schalker Markt” empfohlen. Hier dürfen sich übrigens alle Kandidaten vorstellen. Nicht nur die, die der Vorstand gerne hätte.
